Hi there, my name is Steve. I’ve been interested in computers from a young age and have carried this passion throughout my adult life. I started programming when I was about 12 years old. I made my first few programs in C, but then I switched to web-based languages like JavaScript, PHP and Python of late.
After graduating from university, I changed positions and now spend most of my time working on web applications and other software for financial institutions. I’ve learned a lot about software development and design over the years, and I have a lot of ideas for software that I’d like to implement.
I’m a web developer who is also interested in online marketing, has worked on projects related to that field, and is currently working on various projects.
I’ve recently been writing on colleagues’ blogs and immensely enjoyed the experience. As a result, this has led me to create FileDownloads.com.au. A site where I can focus some of my spare time on providing informative information about computer-orientated discoveries I have made.
The site is still in its infancy, but as I continue to make progress, I hope to offer up more posts that are interesting and informative. I try to cover multiple topics and provide a mix of web development, online marketing and computer-oriented discoveries. Please don’t take me to task if I deviate a little into random subjects, as I have a wide range of interests!
The aim is to make FileDownloads.com.au a site that provides extensive information about the world of computers and computer-related events and provides people with a place to learn about these things themselves.
